We want you to love your Mother's Gleam cleaning tools. If something isn't right, here's exactly how returns and refunds work. This policy matches our Terms of Service; if anything is unclear, contact us at mothersgleam@gmail.com and we'll help.

Return Window

You can return your order within 30 days of delivery for a refund.

Return Address

We don't use one fixed return address. Instead, we tailor it to your order so your package goes to the right place as quickly as possible. It only takes a minute: email us your order number at mothersgleam@gmail.com, and we'll get back to you with your personal return address and instructions right away. From there, it's business as usual: pack it up and send it back.

Conditions

Items must be unused, in their original condition, with all tags attached and in the original packaging.
Proof of purchase (your order number or confirmation email) is required.
Cleaning tools that show signs of use (such as dirt, residue, or wear on cloths, pads, brushes, or mop heads) cannot be accepted for a change-of-mind return, unless they are defective.

How to Start a Return

Email us at mothersgleam@gmail.com with your order number and the reason for your return. Photos are helpful if the item is damaged or incorrect.
Receive your return authorization. We'll reply with a return authorization and the return shipping address and instructions. Please wait for this before shipping anything back; unauthorized returns may not be accepted or may delay your refund.
Ship the item back using a tracked shipping service. Keep your tracking number until your refund is complete.

Return Shipping Costs

Change of mind / no longer needed: return shipping is paid by the customer.
Defective, damaged on arrival, or incorrect item: we cover the return. We'll provide a prepaid return label or refund your reasonable return shipping costs, and you can choose between a free replacement or a full refund.

Refunds

Once we receive and inspect your return, we'll email you the approval status within 10 business days.
Approved refunds are issued to your original payment method within 10 business days of approval. Your bank or card issuer may need additional time to post the refund.
If you haven't seen your refund within 10 business days of our confirmation email, check with your bank first, then contact us and we'll investigate.

Exchanges

We offer free exchanges for defective or incorrect items. If a replacement has the same issue, we'll issue a full refund instead. For a different product, the fastest route is to return the original item (per this policy) and place a new order.

Order Cancellations

Need to cancel or change an order? Email mothersgleam@gmail.com as soon as possible. We can cancel or change any order that hasn't yet been processed for shipment. Once an order is being processed or has shipped, we can no longer cancel it, but you can return it under this policy after delivery.

Your Statutory Rights

Nothing in this policy limits any non-waivable rights or guarantees you have under the laws of your place of residence, including the Australian Consumer Law, the New Zealand Consumer Guarantees Act 1993, and the UK Consumer Rights Act 2015. If a product fails to meet an applicable statutory guarantee, the remedies provided by those laws apply in addition to this policy.

EU, EEA & UK customers: you additionally have a statutory right to withdraw from your purchase within 14 days of delivery without giving any reason. Return shipping is at your cost, and we will refund all payments (including standard delivery costs) within 14 days of receiving the goods or proof of return. Our 30-day return policy applies on top of this right, never instead of it. See our Terms of Service for full details.
